Use the extra firm (be sure all the water is squeezed out!) in stir fry or the soft tofu in smoothies.  Your family will never no the difference!  My kids loved plain tofu around 19-16 months of age.  It's the perfect protein source when they are trying to feed themselves, but cannot handle bites of meat yet.
