What to Buy NOW

I am starting a new series of posts called What to Buy NOW.  Every few months I will give you my picks of great buys for the time of year.  Use this as a guideline to stock-up on things your family will use all year long, or to time a big purchase for the best deal.


What to buy mid-late summer:

  • School supplies (think home office supplies as well)
  • Computers
  • Mayo, mustard, ketchup & barbecue sauce
  • Ice cream (if you have a deep freezer, fill it up!)
  • Hot Dogs (look for great sales at July 4 and Labor Day)
  • Summer clothes for next year
  • Swimsuits
  • Fresh produce (You can't save it, but enjoy it while it is cheap!)
  • Lemonade, ice tea, & other drink mixes
What else do you think is a good buy this time of year?
